Henry Playne Experience

Henry Playne is the founder and Principal Property Practitioner of Qando Property.

With a track record over 40 years in the property sector and extensive commercial property experience, he offers expertise in property finance, property development, and investment and development sales and acquisitions.

When based in New Zealand, he was a Senior Investment Broker at CB Richard Ellis working with listed and unlisted property funds, multinational corporates and private clients executing real estate strategies and major projects in Australasia.

In South Africa, he was Head of Capital Markets, JLL South Africa, for 10 years. At JLL he was responsible for business growth and oversight of all capital market transactions. He completed investment sales on behalf of a wide range of institutional, corporate, pension fund and private client family offices. He advised on sales and acquisitions for client portfolios and major developers, with an emphasis on selling larger investment grade assets and matching private equity to property opportunity.

He has a wide range of experience across all asset classes and has assisted various clients with investment strategy, analysis, negotiation and general advisory.
